Here’s a quick list of the best cafés in Cebu City (and some nearby spots!) that I’ve tried and loved—complete with some personal reviews to help you pick your next favorite hangout.
- Dahun Café
- Bintana Coffee House
- Flinders Lane Café
- Lakeview Le Jardin
- Charlie’s Cup
- Bo’s Coffee at Casa Gorordo
- Nanda Café
- Clara’s French Crepes

1. Dahun Café
Location: 68 P. Almendras St, Cebu City (walking distance from Queensland Manor)
I might not be a coffee connoisseur, but as a self-proclaimed foodie, I’m all about the dining experience—from the vibe to the service. And when it comes to making customers feel welcome and well taken care of, Dahun Café definitely hit the mark!
It was one of those sweltering hot days when my friend and I dropped by, and after a warm welcome and some time to settle in and choose our orders, the staff brought out a refreshing glass of cold water—without us even having to ask. Can we rate the water? Because honestly, 10/10 for that alone! 🤣🤣🤣

As a cream cheese girl through and through, I had to try their Burnt Cheesecake paired with an Iced Red Velvet Latte, while my friend went for a Clubhouse Sandwich with their in-house Dahun Coffee—freshly pressed coffee over milk and vanilla ice cream. Yum!
Aesthetic-wise, the café is a dream: clean, sleek, and perfect for photoshoots, TikTok videos, or reels. And since it’s tucked away from the main road, it’s got that cozy, quiet vibe ideal for studying or getting some work done.
The food and coffee? Let’s just say I’m already dreaming of my next ice-cold cup and another slice of that cheesecake. I’d be back in a heartbeat!
Bintana Coffee House
Location: 181K Elizabeth Pond St, Cebu City

As someone who loves both food and culture, Bintana Coffee House is a treasure. This quaint café is a perfect blend of art and ambiance, offering a unique experience from the moment you walk in until you settle your bill.

Nestled in a neighborhood off the beaten path, Bintana serves delightful meals and coffee at super affordable prices—ranging from ₱100+ for a simple Sagada Beans brew to ₱240 for a Bulletproof-Magnum. They also offer meal sets that cover everything from pork, beef, fish, and chicken to desserts and extras, priced between ₱120 and ₱320. Believe me, you’ll leave feeling satisfied; I had a hard time finishing mine!

When I visited, the café was hosting the Masidlakon pop-art event for Cebu City Arts Month, featuring local artists reimagining their hometown through abstract patterns. If you want to be surrounded by art—without people randomly waving their phones around to document every second—Bintana Coffee House is the perfect place to immerse yourself, nourish your soul, and unleash your creativity.

Flinders Lane Café
Location: Unit 10, St. Patrick’s Square, R. Aboitiz St, Cebu City

If it wasn’t for TikTok’s viral Tiramisu Dance, I might never have stumbled upon Flinders Lane Café. Tucked away in St. Patrick’s Square across from St. Theresa’s College, this cozy spot serves coffee, comfort food, and desserts to crush those cravings.
Naturally, we had to order the Tiramisu Cake paired with an Iced White Choco Mocha—a bit of a sugar overload, but totally worth it! According to friends, the Barista Signature drinks, like the Iced Tiramisu Latte, Iced Biscoff Cloud Latte, and Iced S’mores Latte, are the true stars here.

Flinders Lane Café also offers an All-Day Breakfast menu, including the Cheesy Bacon with Egg, Big Breakfast Feast (both Western and Filipino), Hungarian Breakfast, Waffle Breakfast, and more. Perfect for whenever you’re in the mood for breakfast—no matter the time of day!
Lakeview Le Jardin
Location: Km 30 Trans Central Highway, Sitio Inaad, Barangay Tabunan, Cebu City (beside Charlie’s Cup)

Coffee with a panoramic view of Cebu’s lush highlands and the misty lake of Toledo City? Yes, please! This wasn’t our original plan—we were headed to Charlie’s Cup, but it was closed for lunch, so we wandered next door to Lakeview Le Jardin, and let me tell you, it was the best detour ever.
Founded in 2021 by French gardener Jean Daniel, this gastro-botanical space overflows with tropical flowers and exotic plants. The menu features contemporary French dishes with a twist on Filipino favorites. For lunch, we went with the Burger Steak with Rice (150g Angus beef patty topped with mushroom and red wine gravy) and the Homemade Pesto Pasta, paired with their Avocado Shake of the day. Delicious!

If you’re looking for a place to feast your eyes and your stomach at the same time, Lakeview Le Jardin is the spot. Plus, there’s a hidden café within that serves croissants and coffee—a perfect treat after a stroll through the garden or an afternoon spent reading under the bamboo trees.
Charlie’s Cup
Location: Transcentral Hi-way Sitio Inaad, Barangay, Cebu City (beside Lakeview Le Jardin)

If you’re cruising along the TCH, you can’t miss Charlie’s Cup—thanks to its adorable corgi icon! Once a family refuge during the pandemic, this trendy café has become a favorite for riders, couples, friends, and families en route to Balamban or just exploring Cebu’s highlands. The café has a cozy, homey vibe with alfresco dining and serves Filipino comfort food (think Spam Fries!) and specialty drinks that are a treat.

With its large 150-seating capacity, it’s the perfect place to spill some juicy tea with friends, bond with family, or simply enjoy the stunning views of the hills, lake, and green vegetation.
Bo’s Coffee at Casa Gorordo
Location: Eduardo Aboitiz St, Cebu City

Coffee with a side of history? Yes, please! While Bo’s Coffee is already a staple in Cebu, this branch inside Casa Gorordo offers a unique setting to sip your coffee and enjoy your pastry while soaking in the ambiance of the 1850s.

Who wouldn’t want to be transported back in time while enjoying a creamy cheesecake? I’m definitely bringing friends back for another museum trip and a cozy hangout!
Nanda Café
Location: Sitio Camino, Barangay Gabi, Cordova

Okay, so this one isn’t technically in Cebu City, but if you find yourself around Cordova, Nanda Café is a must-visit! With its minimalist aesthetic, this peaceful café is perfect for working, studying, or catching up with friends.
During our visit, we indulged in a White Chocolate Frappe, a Black Cold Brew, and—of course—the Blueberry Cheesecake (because, cheesecake girl here!). We also tried the Ube Roll, which was so massive that I had to take it home. My mom loved it so much she asked for more!

The staff was super welcoming, and when I jokingly mentioned that the place could use some music, they quickly played a gentle tune that perfectly matched the café’s ambiance. If you’re wondering if I’d go back, let’s just say my mom hasn’t stopped reminding me about that Ube Roll!
Clara’s French Crepes
Location: Bangbang II, San Miguel Road, Cordova, Cebu (behind McDonald’s)

If the name rings a bell, it’s probably because Clara’s French Crepes has several branches scattered across Cebu—at SM Seaside City, Il Corso Lifemalls, Green Valley, Capitol, Streetscape Banilad, and City Times Square Mactan. But if you’re craving a unique experience, the Cordova branch is a hidden gem worth exploring!
This spot isn’t just about delicious crepes; it’s also a proud partner of Bookchigo, the first bookstore in the Philippines where books are sold by weight. So, while you’re browsing for the best book deals, you can also sip on a cup of coffee in this cozy bookworm sanctuary. Coffee in one hand and a book in the other? Now, that’s a piece of heaven indeed.

Okay, that’s it for now! Feel free to bookmark this list because I’ll be updating it with more hidden gems around Cebu City—and beyond. Join me on this café adventure, or fund me? 😂
