Reflecting on it, Sambawan Island opened a lot of opportunities for me. It made me connect with other bloggers, hikers, and people whom I would never have met had I declined Glister’s invitation. Our hike to Lake Bensis (fondly called as Pingganon Lake) began with curiosity. What’s in there? What’s on top of that mountain? What awaits for us on the other side? Had it not been for curiosity, many discoveries and explorations wouldn’t have come to fruition. Jardin Necitas houses 20,000 glowing multicolored LED tulips and roses that lit up at night. Obviously, the best time to visit the place is at night; however, since we have to go back to Panglao for our accommodation, we have to leave Jardin Necitas early so as to catch the 9pm dinner prepared at the resort. We arrived at Jardin Necitas by half past four in the afternoon when the sun was still brightly shining above all creations.
