Getting to Siquijor from Manila or Cebu involves a combination of air and sea travel. If you’re flying from Manila, the most common route is to take a direct flight to Dumaguete City. From Dumaguete Airport, a quick tricycle or taxi ride will bring you to Dumaguete Port. Regular ferries operate from Dumaguete to Siquijor, with the journey taking approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on the type of ferry.
Alternatively, if you’re traveling from Cebu, you can board a bus from Cebu South Bus Terminal bound for Liloan Port, ensuring that the signboard indicates either “Liloan Port” or “Bato via Oslob.” The bus fare is approximately ₱400, and the journey takes around five hours. Upon reaching Liloan Port in Santander, board a ferry heading to Larena, Siquijor, with departures at 2:00 AM every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The bus will traverse through Enrique Villanueva, Maria, Lazi, San Juan, and Siquijor towns before returning to Larena Port. Upon arrival in Siquijor, you can choose to disembark at any of the mentioned towns and then take a tricycle to your final destination on the island.
