Jardin Necitas houses 20,000 glowing multicolored LED tulips and roses that lit up at night. Obviously, the best time to visit the place is at night; however, since we have to go back to Panglao for our accommodation, we have to leave Jardin Necitas early so as to catch the 9pm dinner prepared at the resort. We arrived at Jardin Necitas by half past four in the afternoon when the sun was still brightly shining above all creations. We waited for the surroundings to dim a little so that we can still take photos of the glowing flowers… but we never got the chance to.
Nothing much changed on the trails of Mt. Talinis. The vegetation was still thick. There is an ample amount of water supply. The Twin Falls are still astoundingly beautiful. And Lake Nailig couldn’t have been more alluringly serene. Truly, first love never die. While I was silently trailing behind the pack, I was actually recalling the music played by Jet while battling with ascents.
While we’re on our way to GenSan, a friend suddenly messaged me and asked what am I doing in the said place. “What are you doing there? There’s nothing much to do there.” Coming from a local of the place who happened to currently work in Cebu, she was particularly right. However, after several days spent in GenSan, I’ve learned that there’s more to the city aside from Manny Pacquiao and tuna.
