The world we live in is an endless chase of dreams, lust, and greed. Whether you agree with me or not, you know deep down that you have always been craving for something bigger, bolder, and better. That’s a normal result of being reared in a society that told us that we ‘have’ to be ‘somebody’ someday. However, somewhere along the way, this drive would be tested when after all the hard work, we don’t get the outcome we so dream to achieve. Consequently, this becomes a pivotal point: to persevere or to quit?
With all the adversities coming along the week, it’s easy to breakdown. Good thing, I was surrounded with millennial colleagues who, amidst all the tasks assigned, still managed to see the good and growth of all that we are doing. And instead of lurking into frustration, they decided to take a break and eat.
Yes, it is. After all, the drama on the previous paragraphs, this is just a food blog. HAHAHA. Bait!

Wasted Chef is a homey and affordable eat-all-you-can restaurant located at Gorordo, Avenue, Kamputhaw, Cebu City across Asilo dela Milagrosa Church. It offers an array of Mediterranean, Italian, and Greek variation of cuisines – from pizza, pasta, burger, shawarma to shrimp. The place is owned by a group of friends headed by Powerspoonz’s drummer Ian Sekong – the same owner of the nearby food station, Azul. Though at first glance the place would get a laid-back impression, the overall interior of the place is cozy at its finest – a great venue to chill and allow life to take its proper course.

Probably we won’t get whatever we wanted. Or maybe we will. One thing is for sure, we will receive exactly what we deserve. Not now. Not later. But on the perfect time. For the moment, take a break. Even the Supreme Court takes a recess. Likewise a Semestral break for big universities. It won’t make you less of a person. Remember, the time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time at all. Tara, let’s eat! HAHA.
